Today is February 15th, meaning we're now over the hump of the four-week-long City Sprint! I've noticed a slump in mapping, and have been feeling a bit wrung out myself lately...yesterday was the first day since Feb 1 that I didn't map at all. A challenge like this is more fun with friends, so since the User Diaries send updates when replies are added I thought a post here could be a fun way for those of us who'd like a bit of communal cheering-on to get our fix.
Over the second half of the City Sprint, post updates, ideas, questions, etc. related to your City Sprint projects here. The point of this thread is to create an encouraging environment, so please avoid snark, sarcasm, rudeness, abruptness, etc.
I'll kick things off. My goal was to kick the development of my country's capital city into warp-speed; it was a completely blank slate at the start of the month, just a name on the map. I'm really excited about the amount of progress I've made so far; the central city is pretty much done in terms of the street network, and a number of key buildings are already mapped.
